Good Day Farm blooms anew in Little Rock - Arkansas Times

Good Day Farm continues its rapid expansion across the South. Its latest venture brings a fresh face to Little Rock. The new dispensary at 3600 Cantrell Road marks not just another location but a significant step in the company's evolution. This growth reflects the hard work and strategic acquisitions of the past few years, coming to fruition in brick-and-mortar stores. "A lot of these new openings are the result of work or acquisitions that were done every six months to a year ago," chief compliance and government affairs officer Nate Steel said. The Cantrell location is quickly proving to be a testament to their planning and the company's commitment to growth and patient accessibility.

Good Day Farm's journey began with the acquisition of a cultivation license in Newport, which expanded its cultivation efforts into Pine Bluff, and then a dispensary license for a shop on Rodney Parham. From these seeds the company has blossomed, establishing a presence known for its professionalism and dedication to patient care. "I feel like we set out to bring a new level of sophistication and professionalism to this industry," Steel said. Evident in design and atmosphere, the store is a far cry from the stereotypical image often associated with the industry. "You gotta really dispel a lot of stigmas that come with the industry and a lot of misconceptions about who the patients are," Steel said. "We aimed to create a clean, inviting and approachable environment."

The company's focus extends beyond the aesthetics of its stores to providing high-quality medical products. "At the end of the day, that's what we're providing," Steel said, "pharmaceutical-grade medical products to patients with all kinds of qualifying conditions." This commitment is driven by experts including a chief scientist and a head chef. "Part of our motto is 'good people, good products,' and I think we have the best people on a national level," Steel said. The teams are constantly innovating, exploring new forms of extraction and developing products that cater to patient needs and preferences. From pectin-based gummies to honey infusions, Good Day Farm is pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the medical cannabis market.

Looking to the future, Good Day Farm aims to continue growing through patient advocacy and internal improvement. "We think we can grow the market significantly just by building upon the assets that we have, like this building and others, and trying to encourage regulatory changes," Steel said. This includes exploring options like the potential for a drive-through service and expanding the use of telemedicine for patient renewals. They are also committed to educating patients and making access to medical cannabis as seamless as possible. Steel pointed to resources like the Arkansas Times and national referral networks that can help guide potential patients through the process of obtaining a medical card. He also noted the decreasing costs associated with the program, making it a more accessible option for those seeking relief.

Good Day Farm's new location on Cantrell Road represents more than a new store; it's a symbol of the company's dedication to Arkansas's capital city. "We love the fact that we call Little Rock home," Steel said.
