A New York system is rescheduling Dec. 26 in-person appointments at its health and wellness plaza because of a water main break.
Samaritan Health in Watertown, N.Y., said the disruption affects Watertown Family Health Center, SMART Clinic and Women's Wellness and Breast Care, as well as its imaging, outpatient mental health and addiction services, walk-in lab and X-ray services, according to a Dec. 26 news release.
The organization said these appointments will either be shifted to telehealth, rescheduled or moved to another location, adding that it plans to reopen all in-person services Dec. 27.
Samaritan operates two hospitals, two long-term care centers, and several community clinics and satellite testing centers, according to its website and LinkedIn page.
