For the first time in its history, Austin FC will open an MLS season with somebody other than Josh Wolff coaching the club. That responsibility now falls to new head coach hire Nico Estévez (late of FC Dallas).
Austin FC will kick off the season at home against Sporting KC on Saturday, February 22. Austin soccer fans will also have the 2025 MLS All-Star Game to look forward to on July 23, hosted for the first time at Q2 Stadium.
All Austin FC regular season matches will be available to watch live in English and Spanish via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. (Austin FC season ticket holders receive one subscription to MLS Season Pass for free as a feature of their season ticket membership.) Additionally, four Austin FC regular season matches will be broadcast on FOX: an away match vs. LAFC on Saturday, March 15, an away match vs. St. Louis City SC on Sunday, March 30, a home match vs. Portland Timbers on Saturday, April 5, and a home match vs. defending MLS Cup Champions, LA Galaxy, on Saturday, April 19.
