The Santa Barbara area shined on the gridiron in the fall of 2024, with countless standout football players making names for themselves or capping off their stellar high school careers.
As a result, 30 student-athletes from five different schools were named to Noozhawk's 2024 All-South Coast Football Team. The team was made by Sports Editor Diego Sandoval.
Oscar Mauia, Bishop Diego: Led a dominant Cardinal rushing attack by taking 178 carries for 1,231 yards and 10 touchdowns. First Team All-Marmonte League.
Quinn Pullen, Cate: Dual-threat quarterback who led the Rams to an undefeated regular season. Tri-Valley League Most Valuable Player.
Kaleb Williams, Dos Pueblos: Served as the bell cow running back for a strong Charger team with 228 carries for 1,268 yards and 11 touchdowns. First Team All-Tri-County League.
Sawyer Kelly, Carpinteria: Do-it-all quarterback for the Warriors who excelled on both sides of the ball. First Team All-Citrus Coast League.
Danny Diaz, San Marcos: Quarterbacked the Royals to their first CIF-SS playoff appearance since 2005. 1,128 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, All-Tri-County League First Team.
Simon Alexander, Dos Pueblos: Shined in league play under center for the Chargers with 1,322 passing yards, 14 touchdowns and just three interceptions. All-Tri-County League First Team.
Nate Jones, San Marcos: Paced a strong ground game for the Royals to earn a spot in the CIF-SS playoffs with 732 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns. All-Tri-County League First Team.
Kai Mault, Santa Barbara: Standout athlete who saw extended playing time as a dual-threat quarterback and dominant receiver. 302 passing yards, 652 rushing yards, 601 receiving yards, 18 total touchdowns. Conejo Coast League Wide Receiver of the Year.
Carter Debusk, Santa Barbara: Stepped up for the Dons when Mault was forced under center with 34 catches for 499 yards and five touchdowns. All-Conejo Coast League First Team.
Quinn Donnell, San Marcos: Leading receiver for the Royals' passing attack with 378 receiving yards and five touchdowns. All-Tri-County League First Team.
Ethan Rehnborg, Cate: Leading receiver for the undefeated Rams team. Tri-Valley League Offensive Player of the Year.
Ivan Velez, Dos Pueblos: Found a strong chemistry with Alexander as league play went on and ended with 33 catches for 506 yards and three touchdowns. All-Tri-County League First Team.
Malachi Johnston, Santa Barbara: Continued to showcase his dominance in the trenches with another standout season for the Dons. Conejo Coast League Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Julyan Martinez, Santa Barbara: Dominated the line of scrimmage alongside Johnston for a solid Santa Barbara High rushing game. All-Conejo Coast League First Team.
JD Vargas, Bishop Diego: A strong force that helped lead the way for a strong Bishop Diego rushing attack. All-Marmonte League First Team.
Oliver Martinez, San Marcos: The leader of the San Marcos offensive line at the center position. All-Tri-County League First Team.
Giancarlo Vargas, San Marcos: Played a key role in the Royals' run game success throughout the season. All-Tri-County League First Team.

Carter Hubbard, Santa Barbara: Enjoyed a breakout season to lead the Dons' defensive line unit with 39 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 24 quarterback hurries. All-Conejo Coast League First Team.
Roman Gislimberti, San Marcos: One half of a scary pass-rushing duo for the Royals with 34 total tackles, nine tackles for loss and six sacks. All-Tri-County League First Team.
Max Silva, San Marcos: The other half of the edge rushing pairing for San Marcos with 67 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and six sacks. All-Tri-County League First Team.
Bode Fauskee, Santa Barbara: Found himself all over the field for the Dons, collecting 50 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, three fumble recoveries. All-Conejo Coast League First Team.
