The East Texas Mega Heart Health Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 21 at Lufkin's Pitser Garrison Convention Center.

People can see the newest cardiac procedures and technology, including the daVinci Surgical Robot 3D Visual Learning Experience, cardiovascular angioplasty devices, stent placement, cardiac implantable electronic devices, cardiac ablation implant, the WATCHMAN implant, the amplatzer amulet implant, prosthetic heart valves and more.

Cardiologists, heart surgeons, robotic surgeons, St. Luke's Hospitalist Group and many more medical professionals will be on hand.

It will also feature the Mega Heart, Mega Brain and Mega Lung interactive educational experiences.

There will be hourly giveaway prizes, and East Texas heart-healthy vendors will be on hand with food and beverages.

There will also be heart health education with free screenings, including blood pressure, heart disease, stroke risk, coronary risk labs, EKG testing, diabetes and blood sugar checks.

There will also be an on-site hospital job far and a blood drive with free gifts for donors.

The event is hosted by St. Luke's Health and The Heart Institute of East Texas.
