Canadian model Winnie Harlow has announced her engagement to the NBA from Flint in a post on Instagram on Tuesday.
"To eternity," Harlow wrote alongside the hashtag "#shesaidyes."
The post includes a series of photos showing the happy couple on a beach, as well as a video in which she held her engagement ring while fireworks exploded overhead.
Harlow is the founder of the Cay Skin skincare brand. Kuzma is an NBA veteran and former star at Bentley High School in Burton, and later Utah. He was drafted by the Lakers in first round of the 2017 draft.
Kuzma was traded to the Wizards as part of a package that sent Russell Westbrook to LA in 2021 and was traded to the Bucks in exchange for one-time Piston Khris Middleton earlier this month.
The couple discussed their engagement with Vogue on Tuesday. Kuzma said he started planning the big question six months ago before doing so in Turks and Caicos, where the couple went on vacation together for the first time in 2022.
Kuzma chartered a private jet to the islands adorned with roses, balloons, chocolate and champagne. Kuzma then read her a poem he had written.
Harlow told Vogue she originally thought it was all just an elaborate date for Valentine's Day.
"For a split second in my head I thought, This would be so cute if this was an engagement," Harlow told the publication. "But I'm also not the type of person who wants to guess or wants to spoil a surprise. So it just was a fleeting thought in my head."
Harlow, born Chantelle Brown-Young, was diagnosed with vitiligo, an incurable skin pigmentation disease that causes colorless patches to develop on a person's body, at the age of four.
She rose to prominence as a contestant on America's Next Top Model in 2014. She has more than 10 million followers on Instagram.
