America's favorite serial killer in training is on his way.

Paramount+ with Showtime revealed an exclusive clip from the upcoming prequel series Dexter: Original Sin. Set in 1991 Miami, Dexter: Original Sin follows a young Dexter (Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. It drops on streamer Paramount+ on Friday, December 13 and launches on Showtime on Sunday, December 15. The series includes Michael C. Hall as the inner voice of the young serial killer in training.

Per the logline: "When his bloodthirsty urges can't be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcement's radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department. "

The cast for Dexter: Original Sin also includes Molly Brown (Billions), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy), James Martinez (Love, Victor), Christina Milian (Grandfathered), Alex Shimizu (The Blacklist) and Reno Wilson (Good Girls).
