The Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves down 10-3 at halftime against the Cleveland Browns in a pivotal AFC North showdown at Huntington Bank Field.

A late second-quarter drive by the Browns, highlighted by consistent gains and capped off by a Nick Chubb 2-yard touchdown run, turned the tide after the Steelers initially led 3-0.

Pittsburgh's only points of the half came earlier in the second quarter when kicker Chris Boswell drilled a 48-yard field goal to give the Steelers an early 3-0 lead.

The field goal came after a 46-yard connection between quarterback Russell Wilson and wide receiver Calvin Austin set the Steelers up deep in Cleveland territory. However, penalties and inefficiency in the red zone forced Pittsburgh to settle for three points.

Cleveland's first scoring drive started at their 20-yard line and methodically progressed downfield. Quarterback Jameis Winston connected repeatedly with wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, including completions of 16, 8, and 15 yards. Running backs Nick Chubb and Jerome Ford combined to keep the chains moving on the ground.

Facing a crucial fourth-and-1 at the Steelers' 16-yard line, Chubb converted with a 5-yard run to the 11-yard line. Winston followed up with a short 9-yard pass to tight end David Njoku, setting up Chubb's eventual scoring run to make the score 7-3 late in the first half.

The Steelers got the ball back with 4:00 left in the first half. Beginning at their own 30-yard line, on the second play of the drive Russell Wilson would fumble the ball back to the Browns with just over 3:00 left in the first half.

Following the fumble, the Browns found themselves at the Steelers' 16-yard line and would keep the offense on the field on 4th and 6 in an attempt to draw the defense offsides. Failing to do so they called a timeout and Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins took the field and drove in a 34-yard field goal to make the score 10-3 with 40 seconds left in the half.

The Steelers received the ball looking to drive the length of the field. Wilson found tight end Pat Freiermuth for a 19-yard pass to mid-field on the first play of the drive. A third sack for Browns' Myles Garrett capped off the drive and the half.

The Steelers' defense, despite surrendering a late touchdown, has shown resilience, with key stops earlier in the game.

As the second half approaches, Pittsburgh will look to its offense to capitalize on opportunities and reverse the momentum in a critical divisional matchup.
