Rare Blunder Looms Large in Steelers' Loss vs. Browns

In a snowy night in Ohio, the Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Cleveland Browns in a surprising upset, 24-19, on "Thursday Night Football."

The Browns took the lead in the game's final minute when running back Nick Chubb took in a two-yard touchdown. With one final possession, the Steelers simply ran out of time, failing to convert on a 35-yard shot to the end zone on the final play.

That final touchdown drive by Cleveland was set up by a 15-yard punt by Corliss Waitman, giving the Browns possession on the Steelers' 45-yard line.

The Steelers' special teams have often been considered one of the best units in the league, but their massive mistake in one of the biggest moments of the game set the Browns up with their best field position of the night in the final minutes of the game.

Regardless, the Steelers made many mistakes earlier in the night that contributed to the loss. Pittsburgh didn't reach the end zone until the fourth quarter, and Russell Wilson was also sacked four times throughout the night, three times by Myles Garrett.

The Steelers' pash rush also struggled to reach Jameis Winston throughout the night. Winston was sacked once, which was a strip sack that led to points, but aside from that, he was not sacked again. Superstar pass rusher TJ Watt finished the game with four combined tackles and one tackle-for-loss.

Looking ahead, the Steelers will be in Ohio once again in Week 13 when they face the Cincinnati Bengals.
