The Parkway Panthers, Haughton Bucs and Bossier Bearkats won district games Tuesday.
In District 1-5A, Parkway defeated Airline 63-49 at Airline, and Haughton edged Benton 49-47 at Benton.
In the other 1-5A games, Natchitoches Central defeated Captain Shreve 57-43 and Evangel Christian defeated Byrd.
Natchitoches Central (20-4, 6-0) leads the district. Parkway (15-9, 4-1) is in second. Haughton (16-11, 3-2), Captain Shreve (15-10, 3-2) and Evangel (12-12, 3-2) are tied for third.
In District 1-4A, Bossier routed Northbound 71-41 at Northbound.
Bossier (12-11, 4-0) and Minden (18-2, 4-0) will face off for the district lead Friday night at Bossier. The Crimson Tide edged Booker T. Washington 64-63 Tuesday at BTW.
At Airline, Caleb Evans led Parkway with 20 points. He knocked down four 3-pointers. Jacob Gaskins and Kaleb Williams scored 16 and 14, respectively. Tristan Sedberry had nine.
Parkway hit eight 3-pointers. Airline had seven.
Jaydan Gladney sank four 3s and led the Vikings (10-16, 2-4) with 24 points. Eli Washington chipped in 13.
The Panthers hit three 3-pointers in the first quarter and led 12-6. Gladney made two from long range and scored 11 points in the second as the Vikings rallied to tie it at 24.
Evans nailed three 3s in the third quarter. Gladney kept Airline in it with 11 points. Parkway took a slim 42-40 lead into the fourth.
The Panthers pulled away in the fourth, outscoring the Vikings 21-9. Six Parkway players contributed points in the quarter led by Evans with seven.
Parkway hosts Benton Friday. Airline hosts Calvary Baptist in a non-district game.
At Northwood, Bossier senior Kerel Dean continued to shine. He led the Bearkats with 23 points.
Tonio Ambler-Barr had 12, Jatravion Bunnery 11 and David Thomas 10,
Dean scored seven and Ambler-Barr six in the first quarter. Thomas and Tycoreion Williams hit 3-pointers and Bossier rolled to a 21-5 lead.
The Falcons got going offensively in the second quarter but the Bearkats still led 33-22 at the half. With Dean scoring 10, Bossier extended the lead to 52-30 going into the fourth.
Antoine Green and Ralph Anvanchie led Northwood (8-18, 2-2) with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
