WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Dickinson County Commissioners will consider whether to move forward with the Hope Ridge Wind Project. The commission will consider a conditional use permit for the project on Thursday.
According to Enel Green Power, it will have a 334-megawatt capacity and cover 40,000 acres. The company predicts it will generate millions of dollars in tax revenue and create jobs in the county.
Commissioners will hear feedback on the project at 11:15 a.m. The meeting will be streamed on YouTube.
