An unoccupied house in Rodanthe, in North Carolina's Outer Banks islands, collapsed into the water overnight into November 14, the National Park Service (NPS) confirmed.
Video and stills captured on November 15 by photographer Daniel Pullen show debris from the collapsed house n Surf Side Drive, and neighboring coastal houses still standing amid the surf.
NPS said severe weather restricted cleanup efforts and the Rodanthe beachfront was closed due to debris.
The Cape Hatteras National Seashore was also monitoring unoccupied structures on G A Kohler Court and Sea Oats Drive that were threatened by the ocean, NPS said.
