This year, both Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and San Diego International Airport welcomed new Sapphire Lounge by The Clubs. These two lounges join existing locations in New York (JFK) and Boston (BOS).
"When we opened our first domestic lounge, we were clear that expanding our footprint and elevating the on-trip experience for our Sapphire Reserve cardmembers was a priority," said Dana Pouwels, head of Airport Lounge Benefits, Chase. "Our openings in Phoenix and San Diego, in addition to the expansion of lounge access in locations where our customers live and travel, continues along our goal of delivering this highly sought after benefit."
Already open as of Nov. 12, the new Chase lounge at Phoenix sits in the South 1 Concourse in Terminal 4 near American Airlines and Southwest Airlines gates.
Despite being one of the smallest lounges in Chase's portfolio, this new club boasts a bar, indoor patio space and panoramic views of the tarmac. Dining options include Press Coffee, a retrofitted Airstream food truck serviced by the larder & the delta restaurant, and wines from Parcelle.
Open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Phoenix's Sapphire Lounge by The Club spans 3,500 square feet. Hand-painted license plates for the lounge's Airstream are courtesy of Timmy Ham (SLOTH), who also created a custom design for an exclusive luggage tag as a complimentary gift for visiting Reserve cardmembers, made in collaboration with Solgaard.
On Dec. 6, Sapphire Lounge by The Club opens at San Diego International Airport in Terminal 2 West. This 10,000-square-foot space will offer a wellness area with bookable private rest pods, on-demand digital meditations from Devi Brown and facial treatments from Face Haus.
Cardmembers at this soon-to-open lounge can order á la carte for a curated menu by Oscars Mexico Seafood and coffee selections from Groundwork Coffee. Curated wines are courtesy of Parcelle.
Looking ahead to 2025, Chase intends to open lounges at other airports across the country, including Philadelphia (PHL) and Las Vegas (LAS). And, later on, a Chase lounge will debut in Los Angeles (LAX). Earlier this year, Chase opened a Sapphire Lounge by The Club at New York's LaGuardia.
In addition to new lounge openings, Chase also announced new airport lounge access with Air Canada, now available. This new feature allows Chase cardmembers to enjoy access to more than 20 select Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Cafés when flying on a connecting or departing Star Alliance airline flight.
